Frequently asked questions.

EVENTS

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE?

Tickets are all inclusive and as described on each individual event listing - see website for further details. All your food and drink is included within the price as well as the cost of any scheduled activities. We do not offer guests the option to purchase additional drinks beyond those already included within the cost of the ticket.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR/BRING?

All of our events take place outdoors. Whilst we always hope for pleasant conditions we recommend that you also bring a warm and waterproof layer. Please wear suitable outdoor footwear with ankle support.  Bring a refillable water bottle. Sun cream and a hat.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

We always aim to provide an open air experience for our guests. Unless we are experiencing extreme/dangerous weather, events will not be cancelled.
The tents will provide warm, dry cover in a drizzle. On a hot day, the sides roll up to create a good shade that lets the breeze float through.

I’M WORRIED ABOUT TRAVELLING, CAN YOU HELP?

Yes - whatever your concern whether accessibility and/or safety, we have got your back. Let us help you with trains and arrange transport for you from the station.

Accessibility - From the farm car park to the field there’s a walk of about 200 metres on moderately uneven ground but no steps or steep slopes. At the station there are lifts. More details on request.

Safety - I’m particularly keen to ensure that everyone has a micro-aggression-free day - so whether you’re trans and you’re worried about the taxi driver or you’re a fairly recent immigrant and you’re worried about leaving the city - know that there will be a Welcome Pack coming at least 2 months before your Team with Nature day with all what we’re doing to ease your path. And if that doesn’t set you at ease then we’re available to answer any questions: becky@sandkind.uk

CAN I WALK THERE?

If you love hiking - there’s a lovely walk from the station - I can send details.

It’s between an hour and 2hrs depending on your speed. So you might want to consider combining hiking with an over night(s) stay. There’s a lovely canal side pub on the way - the Globe Inn. And the beautiful Rushmere Country Park to explore if you’ve got the time.

WHAT DOES THE FARM LOOK LIKE? WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS FROM?

The photos in the location section are genuinely of Bragenham farm. The chickens photo I took in September on a foraging course there. The one behind the chickens is a photo of the Reed field where Team Camp will be situated but the photo was taken in Autumn - just imagine how it’ll look in late Spring /early Summer - more like the meadow photo above (from Unsplash)

Photo at the top is Ivinghoe Beacon on the edge of the Chiltern Hills nearby which you’ll see to the right of train if you’re travelling that way up from London.

On the home page

the ‘out standing in a field’ photo is the view from a friend’s back garden about a mile or 2 from the farm, nearer to Woburn estate

the picture of bark is a gum tree photo I took in St Kilda Australia in 2015 visiting family after we got married.

my face is by me

All the other photos are free stock photos courtesy of Unsplash and the beautiful people who took them.

CAN I CO-FACILITATE WITH YOU?

If you’re bringing a team then, yes, I’d love to co-facilitate with you - have a look at the individual event pages then let’s chat.

If you’d like to co-facilitate to get experience and maybe set up a similar business in your area, awesome! I’m considering co-facilitator & founder training. Get in touch so I can add you to the list.

SHOULD I CONTACT THE FARM DIRECTLY?

No, we’ve built a good relationship with the farm and we know they’re busy. Please contact us in the first instance about any queries relating to your time on the farm for your Team with Nature day.

However, for booking glamping or camping, the night before/after, then, yes, go ahead do that directly. https://www.bragenhamfarm.co.uk/
